Our Theoretical Framework

The definition of neurodivergence is the co-existence of all neurotypes. That is the north star for all things TBB. We are neurodivergent-led, yes, but our work is about designing systems where all minds (bouncy or not) can function well.

We see bouncy brains as multidimensional and ever-changing. Our framework rests on three core ideas: understanding how brains actually work, designing systems that adapt to cognitive diversity, and building language that centers lived experience. Together, they move us from accommodation to co-existence.

The TBB Framework

Co-Existence of Minds Through New Models, New Language, and Universal Design

Conceptual Layer (Philosophical)

Ontology of Mind

How we think about neurodivergence and cognitive variation.

  • Multidimensional cognitive models
  • Traits as intensity, frequency, and abundance
  • Moving beyond hierarchy and pathology

Language Framework

How language shapes reality and expands what becomes possible.

  • Conceptual engineering
  • New words and evolving terms
  • Community-up rather than top-down models

Epistemics (How We Know)

How lived experience becomes knowledge and informs change.

  • Mask-switching as labor
  • Hidden neurodivergent profiles
  • Evidence alongside lived experience
Applied Layer (Consulting)

Education Services

Redesigning learning environments so more minds can thrive.

  • Universal Design for Learning
  • Proactive rather than reactive accommodations
  • Faculty training and course redesign

Business Services

Building systems where different ways of thinking are supported and valued.

  • Workplace systems redesign
  • Communication, hiring, and environmental audits
  • Implementation support

Individual Services

Support grounded in lived experience, strengths, and meaningful change.

  • Strengths-based clinical support and coaching
  • Identity and masking navigation
  • Tools for daily life and self-understanding
Outputs & Deliverables

The TBB Framework translates ideas into practical resources, education, and systems-level change.
