The Story Behind TBB
I founded The Bouncy Brain after facing a pattern that many neurodivergent people know all too well: being highly qualified, deeply motivated—and repeatedly filtered out during traditional job interviews. Despite my background in public health, epidemiology, and social work, I encountered systemic barriers that had little to do with competence and everything to do with environments not built for brains like mine.
The Bouncy Brain is built on the belief that inclusion should be soft, intentional, and sustainable. It is a space where lived experience, empirical research, and trauma-informed practice meet. Through consulting, training, and tools, I help individuals and organizations move beyond surface-level inclusion to create environments where neurodivergent people are not just accommodated—but genuinely understood and valued.
My work is shaped not only by my professional expertise, but also by the reality of navigating a world as an autistic, ADHD, Pakistani-American woman with a non-linear brain in a linear world. I created the business I needed—and now I help others do the same.
